Families are forever

My dad past away about a week ago. My family and I will miss him so much. I am so thankful to know that this time of missing him will only be for a short while. I know without a doubt that families are forever and my family will be with papa Wayne again. During this hard time I got the most comfort and reassurance from my 4 year old daughter, Shelby. She was talking on her pretend phone and when she was done she came over to me and said: "yep, I called heaven and papa Wayne is there. He is with Jesus, he likes it alot there but he said he is sure going to miss me." We will all miss you alot dad, and I can't wait to see you again someday, we love you.

Happy New Year!!!

What better new year resolution than to start a blog... Well 2008 is already looking to be a busy year and it has not even started. I am five months prego with a baby girl. I'm due on mothers day ( May 11th.) Jacob is staying really busy with work, and is taking up guitar lessons. He hurt his knee a few weeks ago, and with three knee surgeries in the past, we are really hoping this year doesn't start with another one... Shelby is in pre-school still and is going to start kindergarten in the fall. She takes gymnastics but has asked to go back to ballet class instead. She loves to draw, play barbies, have tea parties, and during down time watch " Charlie & Lolla." River has started to learn to ride his bike he got for christmas, being that he is under 5% for his weight and height, the smallest bike is still pretty big to him. He will start pre-school in the fall, but for now fills his time with playing play dough, having tea parties with his sister, playing cars, and his new love... his train set that takes up his entire floor of his bedroom. I am so excitted for this year to start, I know this year will be full of fun memories I can't wait to share on my new blog...
